for custom officer you need to you must be a graduate through government recognized institute.

also you must get through competitive exam, like UPSC,MPSC at the time of examination your age must less than 28, there is relaxation for SC ST ,PD candidates for detail visit official site of upsc .

Fluent in English and local languages
Above average at organising
Excellent at communicating

Aware about national and international affairs.

Physically fitBut above all, you have to qualify through the Indian Civil Services examination. Very few manage to get through the ICS examination. Thereafter you can opt for different services based on your preference and ranking in the examination.

*The candidates age should be in between 21-30 years.
