Re: Minimum Qualification required to become an IAS Officer?
It is not so easy to become an IAS Officer. One should have strong determination and dedication and have to put best efforts to become an IAS officer.
For IAS, one need to go through a civil services examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). The selection procedure will be by -CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) -Civil Services Main Examination -Interview The required eligibility criteria will be as follows Academic Qualification: -One should have completed Graduation from a recognized university with any of the stream Age criteria : -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for the exam -Relaxation is there in upper age limit for the candidates of OBC, SC/ST. By the time you appear for CSAT Exam, be strong enough in Aptitude, General Awarness and English so that it will be easy for you to crack CSAT Exam. |
