I am in my b.com final year and i want to clear income tax officer exam. what steps should i take to prepare for the exam?

To become an Income Tax officer, you have to appear in the SSC Combined Graduate level exams.


This exam is held in three stage:
Tier 1
Tier 2
Interview
The first two stage are the written test held at All India Level


You can apply for this exams if you meet the below eligibilty:

Education:
Graduation pass in any stream
No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation

AGE-
Minimum 18 years
Maximum 27 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations


Questions will be asked from the Below Sections in this Exams:
>> General Intelligence and Reasoning
>> General Awareness
>> English Comprehension
>> Quantitative Aptitude

Hai,

Incometax officer exam conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission) every year. This year the exam was already held in january-february. So you have to wait for the next notification.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

Percentage is not important to apply this exam.

You must be an Indian origin.

Age criteria:-

The age limits are 18 years to 27 years,

3 years age relaxation is given to OBC candidates,

5 years age relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates.


Selection process:-

Tier-I written exam,

Tier-II written exam,

Personal interview.


Syllabus:-

General intelligence and Reasoning,

English comprehension,

General awareness,

Numerical aptitude.

i am a B.E graduated person and i like become a incometax officer.

To become a Income Tax Officer a sportsman is compulsory for the requirement???
