The Notification of Next year Civil services examination is going to be Published in next year i.e on 02/Feb/2012. The last date of apply for CSE Preliminary examination is 04/March/2012. The examination will be held soon on 19/May/2012. When the Notification published, soon you can apply for this examination online, you have to fill the application form online from the official website of UPSC. The application form available in 2 parts and you have to fill both the parts completely for complete registration purpose. The examination is conducted in two stages i.e Preliminary and Mains and if you cracked the preliminary examination, only then you are eligible for Mains, Preliminary examination is objective with negative marking and there are two papers in this examination. So please prepared well for this examination well as per the pattern. You can download the syllabus from the official website of UPSC from the previous Notification, if you need more information then please check official website of UPSC. http://upsc.gov.in |

Its nice to see that you are aspiring to become an IAS officer. IAS is commonly known as Indian Administrative Services. To become an IAs officer you need to clear UPSC Civil Services Examination. You can sit for the exam provided you follow the eligibility norms: ** You must have completed your graduation in any stream. ** Final year candidates may also apply. ** Your age should be between 21 to 30 years. There is age relaxation given for reserved categories. SC/ST- 5 yrs OBC- 3 yrs PH- 10 yrs Number of attempts: 4 in case of general 7 in case of OBC & unlimited in case of SC/ST till they attain the age of 35 years. There are 3 stages of examination: Preliminary Mains Interview According to latest pattern Preliminary exam is known as CSAT. You have 2 papers in this: General awareness Aptitude test If you fulfill these requirements you can fil the aplication form. Civil services exam is held every year. IAS - Indian Administrative Service, to become an IAS officer one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. The selection of candidate is through three phases:- -CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Preliminary Exam -Civil Service Main Exam -Personal Interview So interested candidate can apply for Civil Service exam in the final year of Graduation Degree and can appear for Civil Service Preliminary Exam. AS stands for Indian Administrative Services. Candidate Complete your Graduation in any discipline Candidate must complete graduation from recognized university. Candidate must have 50% Candidate must have Indian Citizenship. The examination is conducted in two stages

For applying for the prelims, you need to be eligible for the IAS exam.
The eligibility is that you should be a graduate or in final year of your graduation in any disciple from a recognized university of India. And your age should be in the limit of 21-30 years. Forms will be available in February and the prelims examination will be conducted in May. Gud luck. |

Civil services exam is also called CSAt exam. there are 3 stage of this exam Prelim Mains Interview For Civil services exam there are some eligibility criteria which are important for the candidate to appear this exam Candidate must be graduate in any stream from recognized university age of the candidate is 21 to 30 year, 3year age relaxation for OBC and 5 year relaxation for SC/ST candidate candidate should be Indian IMPORTANT DATES--- notification 02/02/2013, last date of submission: 04/03/2013 Date of prelim exam. 19/05/2013 |
