CAT stands for Common Admission test and this examination is Conducted by IIM's Every year.

Those candidate have above 50% in graduation are eligible for CAT exam.For SC/ST candidate this marks is decreased to 45% in graduation.Your graduation college or university must be recognized.
This exam is conduct once time in a year.

This year Exam date is already OVER for 2011 -2012.So you can try for next year.Next notification will be announced in month of April.

You can apply here maximum times because there is no limitation to attempts for CAT exam.

C.A.T(common admission test ) is the taughest exam as you know. it conducted by I.I.M only one time in a year, which is allready over . eligibility for cat examination is ---50 % marks in graduation with any stream, it will reduce 5% for sc/st.

you missed the 2012 exams but you have also other option like M.A.T, X.A.T, if you want otherwise you have to weight for one year.

if i take up the cat exam in 2013 ,when will i get my results and join any college

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the admission to the Post-graduate and Fellow Programs in management courses of several management institutes all over India including the IIMs.

Eligibility

•The candidate must be a graduate with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC/ST/DA/PWD) or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the ministry of HRD, Government of India.

•Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

*(Candidate if selected needs to submit a certificate latest by 30th June 2013 from the Principal/Registrar of College/Institute stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.)
