After completing B.Com through correspondence sure you are eligible for CDS to join Indian Army as an Officer. CDS is Combined Defence Service & CDS examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year to recruit candidates in defence services for Officer post.

To join Indian Army through CDS Exam your Age should be in between 19 to 24 years. You should be Unmarried , Male & citizen of India. Candidate appeared/appearing in final year are also eligible to appear in this exam.



Physical Standard required for Indian Army:








CDS Examination has 3- Stages:

-Written Exam
-Personnel Interview
-Medical Test





Important Notification for CDS Exam:

Date of Notification: 02/06/2012

Last Date for Receipt of Application: 02/07/2012

Date of Commencement of Exam: 16/09/2012
