The upper age limit for most of government job entrance examination is 30-32 years and even if you are from OBC and SC/ST category then also, you can not become eligible for any entrance exam as maximum five years upper age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST candidates.

There is only one possibility to become lecturer in government colleges through National Eligibility Test. NET is conducted by Central board of Secondary Education on behalf of University Grants Commission. For this examination, candidate must have minimum of 55% marks in master's degree. There is 5% relaxation in marks given to OBC and SC/ST candidates.

NET is conducted in June and December. You can clear this exam to become eligible for jobs as lecturer when vacancies are released.
