I have compleated my 12th in Arts subject with 60%marks and Graduation in B.A with 50% marks so please tell me can I join Indian Army as a post of (colonel)

Yes Graduate in any stream can apply for officers post through CDS examination. But to become an officer in Indian Army, you have to crack this examination with top marks.

CDS examination is conducted by UPSC every year and any Graduates from a recognized University can apply for admission.

The age limit for CDS examination is 19 to 25 years for different academies. You are only eligible for Indian Army being a BA Graduate. For Air Force and Navy, the candidates need to have a Graduate degree in maths or physics or engineering subjects.

The selection is purely based on merit and you need to perform very well in the following stages.

1. Written Exam
2. SSB
3. Medical Examination
