I S.Noor Mahammad completed post graduation in commerce ( m.com). I am a visually handicapped with 75%
Am I eligible to get government job,if it is possible how can I get it. Finally I am from chittoor district, andhra pradesh

You have completed M.Com degree so you are eligible for government sector exam like Indian Economic Service exam.

Those candidates who have completed Post graduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics course from a recognized University are eligible for Indian Economics Service 2015 exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.

Pattern for Indian Economics Service exam:-

(a)General English :- 100 Marks
(b)General Studies :- 100 Marks
(c)General Economics-I :- 200 Marks
(d)General Economics-II :- 200 Marks
(e)General Economics-III :- 200 Marks
(f)General Economics :- 200 Marks

You have mentioned that you completed post graduation (M.com) in commerce and you are a visually handicapped.

Being a visually handicapped you can get government jobs.

You can apply for SSC,Banking exam etc.

Information about Staff Selection Commission combined graduate level:

You can get job through SSC CGL in various ministries. Extra time is given to visually handicapped candidates.

• Educational qualification: Candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university with minimum 50%.



• Age: ~Age limit is below 30 years for open category for Group B post. Age relaxation is applicable for backward classes as per government rules.

~Age limit is below 27 years for open category for Group C post(grade pay-2400,2800).
Age relaxation is applicable for sc/st to 5 years and for obc category to 3 years.



• Selection procedure: >> Online objective based test
~ Tire 1- 100questions(reasoning,mathematics,English,general knowledge) ,200 marks.
~ Tire 2- 100 questions (maths) 200 marks, 200 questions (English) 200 marks.

>> offline written descriptive test of English essay / letter, 100 marks.

>> physical fitness test.

You can get job through SSC CHSL as Lower division clerk, postal assistant, data entry operator. Extra time is given to visually handicapped candidates in SSC exam.

• Educational qualification: Candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university with minimum 50%.



• Age: Age limit is below 27 years for open category for Group C post(grade pay-1900,2400).
Age relaxation is applicable for sc/st to 5 years and for obc category to 3 years.



• Selection procedure: >> Online objective based test
~ Tire 1- 100questions(reasoning,mathematics,English,general knowledge) ,200 marks.

>> offline written descriptive test of English essay / letter, 100 marks.

>> computer skill test/ typing test.



Information about UPSC EXAM:


•Educational qualification: Candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university with minimum 50%.

• Age: Age limit below 32 years for open category. Age relaxation is applicable for backward classes as per government rules.

• selection procedure: Union Public Service Commission conducts Civil service examination Civil service exam consists of written test, interview, physical fitness test.


• you can apply for Banking exams through IBPS exam.

• You can apply for Indian Economic Service Exam.


Those candidates who have completed post graduation in Applied Economics / Economics / Field Economics from any recognized university are eligible for this exam.
