Re: To become Deputy Commissioner
Deputy Commissioner of Police in India is one of the highest posts in Indian Police Services. It will require a lot of experience in Indian Police Services to get to this post. The first step for you will be to crack UPSC Civil Services exam which is conducted once in a year, which will allow you to enter the Indian Police Services.
Graduation is the minimum qualification required for this exam and your age should be between 21 to 30 years. There is age relaxation available for candidates who belong to reserved category. Selection is purely based on merit and you have to perform very well in following stages. 1. CSAT 2. Mains Exam 3. Interview You must have very good physical health according to the Indian Police Services standards. For more information visit http://upsc.gov.in |
