I have completed diploma in EEE with 79% and I have joined diploma after completing SSLC with 76%. Shall I join in SI post or should I study more?

To apply for the post of Sub Inspector a candidate must be a graduate from a valid university and in any faculty.So complete your graduation first and then apply.

No, I am sorry to say that the minimum eligibility criteria in order to opt for the above mentioned post is that the candidate should have completed their graduation from a recognized university.

So, if you wish to opt for the above mentioned course, I would suggest you to complete your graduation first.

The minimum required qualification to apply for SI post is Bachelor's degree.

The eligibility criteria required to apply for Sub Inspector post are as under:-

-The candidate should have a citizenship of India.

-The candidate should have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

-Selection of candidate is made based on written exam and physical test.

-Syllabus for the written exam :

*General Knowledge

*General Awareness

*Reasoning Ability

*Maths.

No, diploma candidates are not eligible for SI post.

Eligibility criteria for SI post:-

Educational Qualification:

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for SI post.

Age:

Your age should be in between 20 to 30 years.

Age relaxation:-

SC/ST- 5 years

OBC- 3 years

Ex-Servicemen ( Unreserved)- 5 years

Ex-Servicemen (OBC)- 8 years

Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST)- 10 years
