AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test

This exam is conducted for candidates to join in Indian Air Force and is held for candidates to join in 3 branches such as Ground Duty Branch,Flying Branch,Technical Branch.

Regarding the eligibility criteria's it is that the candidate should have a Citizenship in India for all the 3 branches.

The age limit needed are:

For Ground Duty Branch : 20-27 years

For Flying Branch : 19-23 years

For Technical Branch : 18-28 years

The education qualification needed are:

For Ground Duty Branch it is that the candidate should have completed a Degree from a recognized university.

For Flying Branch it is that candidate should have completed B.E/B.Tech degree from a recognized university.

For Technical branch it is that the candidate should have completed a Aeronautical Engineering degree from a recognized university.
