I want to know the details of SSB. For joining Defence Services why it is important? Please tell me about this asap. Yes, let me know that why one should join Defence in today's world?

SSB- Service Selection Board is the most important interview when it comes to service in Defense. Practically speaking every body has to try this at least once in their lifetime.
If you apply online or through in any post in Defense (Army and Navy) will be called for SSB interview. If you are attending for the first time then the TA will be refunded. They will provide you food and Shelter for how many days you stay there in their premises.

Test process:
SSB interview will be conducted for 5 days. First day will be the like entrance test, you will be given test and GD is conducted only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to stay there for another 4 days for the interview. Each day will have some physical tests as well as Intelligence tests. Final day is allotted for publishing results and you will be really amazed with the recruitment process in Defense.

Why go for Defense?
Primarily, you are surviving only because some one is protecting from enemies that we call it as Defense. If everyone thinks the way you think, then there will be no protector and thus there will be no survivor.
Secondarily, if you get into defense then you can almost enjoy all the facilities and also you can use almost most equipped instruments/ machines that a normal man cannot even dream to touch it. Package will be best one that you may not get in any private sector that easily. Pension scheme was abolished in India late 2000's but it still exists in Defense Service.
Physique is maintained only when you stay in defense, the first year which will be a training will tell you if a person enters with 3 inch belly will come out with 6 pack abs after that one year.
