National Defence Academy Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission for admission who are interested in Army wings, Navy wings and Air Force wings. NDA I Exam announcement was already released and last date for receipt of application has already over. NDA Examination is conducted twice in a year. NDA I exam will be conducted on April. NDA II exam notification will be announced in the month of June/July in the employment news.

For Army wings :

-> Applicant must be Citizen of India.

-> Applicant should have passed intermediate from a recognized School or equivalent qualification.

-> Applicant age should between 16.5-19 years.

-> Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

For Navy and Air Force wings :-

-> Applicant must be Citizen of India.

-> Applicant should have passed intermediate with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized School or equivalent qualification.

-> Applicant age should between 16.5-19 years.

-> Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

The application forms are available in only online mode. There is no offline mode of applications available. Online application forms will be available at the time of notification. The Selection process consist of three stage : Written Exam, SSB Interview, Physical Test & Medical Test.

National Defense Academy (NDA) Examinations which are conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for every twice in a year. This exam is channeled for selection into the Army, Navy and the Air force wings of the National Defense Academy (NDA).

Eligibility Criteria:

- Those candidates who have completed 12th standard in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subject are eligible to apply for the Indian Navy, and Air Force wing. Any stream candidates are eligible to apply for the Indian Army wing.

- The female candidates are not eligible to put on the NDA Examinations and they can thereby cannot enter in the National Defense Academy. So, if you are an unmarried male candidate and you are studying in the 12th class or have passed the 12th class then you are eligible for applying the NDA Examinations.

-> You should be a citizen of India. You should be free from any disease. Your eyesight should be 6/6 or 6/9.Your height should be in between 157cm and you should be mentally and physically strong.

-> Age should be in between 16 years to 19 years.

NDA (National Defence Academy) :-

This is an entrance exam to join in Defence services for Male candidates. Female candidates are not eligible to apply for the exam .

To apply for the exam ,

* The candidates shouldhave completed 12th from a Recognised board.
* Age of the candidate shouldbe in between 16.5 to 19 years only
* The candidate shouldbe a citizen of India
* The candidate shouldbe an unmarried candidate.


The exam will conduct by UPSC twice in every year.
