My height is 164 cm. I want to join as a Police Constable. So, I want to know that with this height I am eligible to join as a Police Constable? Please tell me about this asap. Thank you in advance!

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board are eligible for constable post.

Your age should be in between 18 to 25 years.

Physical Standards :-

Minimum Height:- 170 cms
Chest:- 81cms before expansion and minimum 85cms after expansion.

States have different eligibility criteria for the post of Constable. However in general if I tell you that a candidate must be having height of 165 cm & chest must be 79-84 cm. Age must be between 18 years to 25 years.

As I have mentioned states have different criteria. So, before applying you can check about eligibility criteria of your state or you can mention State name to us we will let you know.

It will be difficult to join as a Police Constable with a height of 164 cm.

Eligibility to become a Police Constable :-

-The candidates should have passed 10th standard from a recognized board.

-The candidate age should be in between 18 to 27 years.

Physical Requirement :

For Male Candidates:

Height - 167 cm

Weight - 51.5 Kg

Chest - 79 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm

For Female Candidates:

Height - 160 cm

Weight - 45 Kg

Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years.

Educational Qualification: You should have passed class 12th exam form any of the recognized board in India.

Pay Scale:- Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/-

Selection Process: You have to qualify all the below tests:
Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test, Interview, Medical Standard Test
