Hello sir, I am a girl candidate and want to apply for Police job in Uttar Pradesh police. I want to know about minimum height for female candidate in police? Physical fitness required for it?

UPPRPB (Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board) recruits candidates in uttar pradesh police department for different posts.

Eligibility
- You must have passed 12th class to apply for constable post & graduation to apply for SI/ASI post.
- Age should be between 18 to 25 years to apply for constable post & 21 to 28 years to apply for ASI/SI Post.

Physical Standards For Female For UP Police Recruitment
- Height : minimum 152 cms
- Weight : minimum 40 kgs

Physical Efficiency Test
- Race : 800 meter in 4 minutes
- Long Jump : 9 Feet
- High Jump : 3 Feet

The eligibility criteria for Uttar Pradesh Police:

*Minimum height required for female candidates of any category: 22 years.

*Minimum weight for female candidates: 40 kilograms.

Physical fitness including height required for a female candidate to join Uttar Pradesh Police are given below.

HEIGHT = General/SC/OBC FEMALE: 152 cm

WEIGHT = GENERAL/SC/ST/OBC: 40 kg minimum.

CHEST = General/SC/OBC/ST: Not Applicable

Eligibility: Candidate must have passed 10th or 12th from a recognized board.

For Female candidates the following requirements are need.

Height for female candidates 150 cm and sc and st obc candidates 145 cm

Eye sight 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye.

1.5 mile run 9 to 15 m

long jump with 3.65 meters

short put with 5 meters distance .

180 meters in 180 sec .

The exam consists of 2 papers.

A preliminary exam is held as a first level.

This prelims exam consist of 2 papers.

General studies

optional subject.

once the candidate clear the prelims exam, they have to sit for the main exam.

There is a list of subjects out of which two are compulsory and 2 or optional.

Once the candidate have cleared the main exam, they are called for a personal interview.

the selection candidates are then sent for a training.

Physical requirement for a female candidate to join police

> A female candidate must have 5'6 inches of height.
> Weight of the body should be minimum 50 but in proportion to height.
> Candidate also must not have any criminal record.
> Artificial tattoos are restricted in the police service.
> Candidate also must have a good eye side with no color blindness
> There is push and pull test while selection where maximum 5 push attempt is needed.
> Pregnant female Candidate are not allowed to give physical test.

>> You are suitably dressed and mentally prepared for the test.
>> You also must be well hydrated for the test.
>> While completing endurance test cross the line with alternate legs to minimize fatigue built up.

For recruitment in Uttar Pradesh police department for police constable and police sub-inspector ,candidate have to fulfill following requirement. He/she must have to undergo written tests,physical tests and interview.

3. Age criteria for female candidate is 18-25 years. Reserved category candidates can get upper age relaxation.
