I got rejected due to fault in DOB, which is not my fault. What to do?
Sir I am Debasis Sarkar s/o C.R.Sarkar. I had gone to Gaya for Army rally in Nov 2007 and got selected in Indian army, letter no 2378/RC/Nov 07 /ST12 Then they said at joining period that I do not deserve in Indian army because of problem in my DOB my actual DOB ACCORDING TO SCHOOL & BOARD Certificate 17/05/1987 but relation certificate that is 17/05/1991 which does not match, where is my fault.

Your DOB should match in all the documents that you posses. Although, DOB is taken into account from your matriculation certificate, but you must make sure that every document has same date.
If during recruitment there is some anomaly, then surely they will reject you. Either you should get your DOB corrected or face rejection. You should have informed this mistake to Indian Army beforehand and should have got an affidavit made for it. |
