There is no certain minimum percentage is required to be eligible for Government banks clerical Cadre posts. The one and only one educational qualification required to meet the eligibility criteria is "Candidates must have to just PASS Graduate Degree or Bachelor Degree" from a recognized university. IBPS Conducts Clerical Examination every year to recruit huge number of candidates to work in 20 public sector (Or) Government banks. So if you have passed your Graduation successfully, then you are certainly eligible to appear in Government Banks Clerical Cadre Examinations as there is no certain percentage is required.

Minimum Educational Qualification Required for Government Banks Clerical Post Recruitment:

>> A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline or Stream from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

>> There is no percentage criteria is required in order to be eligible for Bank Clerical Cadre Exams.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI clerk exam.

Bank clerk exam doesn't require any percentage marks in graduation degree.

Your age should be 20 to 28 years.

Minimum eligibility to apply for a Bank clerk job in India :

All those candidates are considered eligible by the public sector banks who possess a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university or any other equivalent qualification.

Age of the candidate should not be less than 20 years and more than 28 years and upper age is 31 years for OBC candidates and 33 years for SC/ST candidates.

For your kind notice, as per the official advertisement of the bank clerk recruitment by IBPS or SBI, there is no such percentage criteria is asked from a candidate to apply for this test that is why you need not worry about your eligibility and if you are a graduate then you can apply for this exam.

IBPS CWE Clerk prelims exam will be conducted on various dates of December 2015 and mains will be conducted on 3rd January 2016 so you are required to start preparation because you have enough time to get prepared and secure a bank clerk reputed job in life after your graduation.

Examination pattern will be released shortly by IBPS board with its notification that is why you must not worry and find a suitable and excellent coaching center for preparation and give time only for preparation of Bank clerk/ PO examination whatever you choose.

I have listed some good books which will help you in preparation for this examination because these books are rated well and preferred by many selected aspirants so you should also utilize these books in preparation and crack exam.

Kiran Publication - Practice work book for CWE clerk IV.
Ariahnt Publication - Practice work book for CWE Clerk exam.
Arihant Samsamayiki - Current Affairs Monthly in Hindi/ Engilsh.
Success Mirror - Monthly Current Affairs in English/ Hindi.
Lucent Publication - Mathematics and Reasoning Ability for Bank Exams.
Computer Knowledge by Speedy Publishers.
Banking Awareness by Arihant Publishers.

You need to be updated with your books because current affairs changes every single day that is why focus on reading news paper everyday and highlight the events which attracts the attention of massive crowd.

Focus on the subject which is weaker because qualifying in each subject is necessary that is why you need to secure minimum qualifying marks along with total cut off marks required out of grand total so working harder and practice will take you out of this situation and you will definitely qualify the exam.

Coaching centers are very helpful in this field so you need to prefer a good center to learn many things and strategy to crack this examination and one more thing is to do is practice because until you will practice well you will not qualify even prelims test so practice much more than every aspirant and get your job.
