Procedure to become a Commerce lecturer in government college?


Hello sir/madam,

I have completed mba finance. At present i am working as an accountent but I want to become government college commerce lecturer. Please tell me about the steps to get into it. Please mail to [email protected]

Yes, you can appear and qualify in NET examination to become lecturer in government college.

NET examination is conducted by UGC twice every year. To appear for examination candidates need to have minimum 55% aggregate in master's degree.

There is no upper age limit to appear for lecturer in NET examination. The examination is conducted in month oF June and December.

Procedure to become Lecturer in government college:

Step I: Eligibility for National Eligibility Test.

>>Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. You must have scored 55% in master's degree if you belong to General category and 50% marks if you belong to reserved category.

Step II: Apply for NET exam at official website of NET. Examination is conducted in June and December of every year by University Grants Commission.

If you are able to crack NET exam, you will be eligible for Lectureship. As government releases vacancies for NET qualified candidates, you can apply for it. No upper age limit for Lectureship post.

There is no separate eligibility to become lecturer for Commerce. So you have to follow same procedure to become lecture.

To become lecture candidate passed master degree and scored minimum 55% have to appear and qualify in NET examination.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test and it is conducted by UGC. If you need any more information about examination visit at www.ugc.ac.in.

I have completed my Cma as well as M. Com and I want to be guest lecturer in college? Whether its possible to join as guest lecturer without clearing net or set. And what will be process for it?.
