I am a B.Sc. nursing 3rd year student. I wish to join in Indian navy after completing B.Sc. nursing. How i could join?

No, you are not eligible to join Indian Navy after completion of your B.Sc. Nursing course. To be eligible to join Indian Navy, you have to appear in CDS examination which is conducted by UPSC. Candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognised university are eligible to appear in CDS examination. The age criteria required to appear in CDS examination is 19-24 years. You should be an unmarried male candidate and should be physically as well as mentally healthy.

For recruitment in Indian Navy the required minimum eligibility is candidate must have passed 12th with PCM as main paper.

For recruitment after bachelor degree it is necessary to have bachelor degree in technology or engineering through CDS entry or different entry.

So, you are not eligible to appear for entrance examination for recruitment in Indian Navy. To get detail information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in or www.nausenabharti.nic.in.

Procedure to join Indian Navy after B.Sc Nursing:-

Yes you are eligible to join Indian Navy so if you want join in Indian Navy after B.Sc nursing should be given an entrance exam
that exam is CDS exam.

CDS means combined Defence Service.

This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission 2 times in a every year.

For this exam age should be between 19 to 22 years.
