sir ,
i am pursuing my B.tech final year(2nd sem).
I want do job in DRDO what is the procedure to join?And what are
the requirements to be there in DRDO?
Please help me.

Eligibility Criteria for DRDO SET exam:

Only engineering students can apply for this test ad they be from any one of the following streams.

1. Electronics and Communication Engineering

2. Mechanical Engineering

3. Computer Science & Engineering

4. Chemical Engineering

5. Electrical Engineering

Aspirants should have scored a minimum of 60% in their graduation to be able to appear for the exam.

Age Limit:

A minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 30 years is allowed for applying for the exam.

Relaxation; 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC aspirants

Exam pattern:

Papers are divided in 2 sections;

Section A: Based on your stream of Engineering (100 marks)
Section B: Based on Analytical skills, Current Affairs and General Awareness (50 marks)

Procedure for Applying:

Forms are available most probably in the month of April-May and generally exams are conducted in the month of September.

Application forms shall be available at your nearest SBI branch.

Fees for application forms are as follows;

General/OBC : Rs. 100 for application form and Rs. 200 as exam fee.
SC/ST : Exempted from application fee and shall only pay Rs. 100 for brochure.
HH/OH : Exempted from application as well as for examination fee.

DRDO is Defense Research and Development organization, agency which is responsible to develop technology in India. DRDO often release recruitment notifications to recruit young dynamic and eligible candidates to work for its several departments. DRDO releases notifications for several job positions such as,

1).Scientists
2).Junior Research Fellowships (JRFs)
3).Senior Research Fellowships (SRFs)

Since you are going to complete B.Tech engineering graduation, you are eligible to apply for JRF's job position. DRDO accepts Engineering graduation as the basic educational qualification to be eligible for JRF position. Also Sometime DRDO accepts candidates who have successfully qualified GATE Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering score. And sometimes, based on the availability it does not ask for GATE Score. Candidates must have obtained minimum of 60% of aggregate marks in their B.E/ B.Tech and obtained degree from a recognized university. Generally the maximum age limit for JRF job position is 28 years, and age relaxation will be applicable to reserved candidates based on government norms. Other than this option you can write DRDO SET (Scientist Entry Test), for which B.E/ B.Tech graduation is needed.
