Can anyone of you kindly provide me the eligibility details of Punjab Advocate General recruitment for Steno Typist recruitment? I want to know about the eligibility criteria of this recruitment along with the selection procedure.

To apply for Steno Typist position in Punjab Advocate General, you should have completed your graduation from a recognized college/university. You should also have completed computer/IT and productivity application course. Your age should be in between 18 to 37 years and age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms. The selection of the candidates will depend upon the performance in the skill test followed by English Stenography, transcription test and personal interview.

Eligibility to apply for Punjab Advocate General Steno Typist recruitment is as follows:

Graduation in any discipline + candidates possess at least 120 hours with hands on experience in the of personal computers on information technology in office productivity applications or DTP applications from Government recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 certified or possess a Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to an O level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) of the Government of India.

Selection Procedure of Punjab Advocate General Steno Typist recruitment is as follows:

Candidates have to appear for the Skill Test and Interview for the selection of Steno Typist posts. In the Skill Test, candidates have to perform proficiency in English stenography at the speed of 80 words per minute and Transcribe at a speed of 15 words per minute.
