For your kind notice, there is no vacancy furnished at present in CID department and you must know that CID is a department that comes under state government police services means a particular state government recruiting officers/ employees for police services also recruits officers for CID department means recruitment in CID is done by the state government not by central government.

CID - Crime Investigation Department requires constables, Sub Inspectors, Assistant Sub Inspectors and some other relevant posts and head under the authority of CID are TIs, AIGs etc. officers so first of all you can only be appointed in CID from a post of Constable or ASI or SI.

State government conduct recruitment of SI and Constables every single year or after a year gap so you need to apply for that recruitment first and give your priority to work in CID after getting selected.

To apply for the post of Constable, you need to have passed in class 12th in any subject and your age should not be more than 30 years and less than 18 years.

To apply for the post of SI you should have a degree in any discipline and age should be between 18-28 years and some states keeps this age limit 18-30 years as well.

If you qualify the written examination then you need to qualify physical examination too because physical test is most compulsory part in recruitment of police services and after qualifying physical test, you have to appear for interview process in both posts and qualifying in this process is also compulsory.

To get selected in CID or STF or Special Branch Police then you have to score good marks in examination because candidates securing higher marks in written test are considered for higher level departments so you just need to work harder for written test and interview as well and get selected.
