Mam /Sir, I have just completed my 10th standard I am now 11th student . If I complete 10+2 with IT or electronics, will I be eligible for assistant loco pilot?

Indian Railways Assistant Loco Pilot & Technician Exam is conducted by a single Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) or RRB's together as and when there is vacancies in railways.

Eligibility criteria for Assistant Loco Pilot are as under :-

-The candidate should have passed Matriculation (Class 10) with a course completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT or SCVT in the relevant trade or a diploma in engineering.

-The candidate age limit should be in between 18-30 years. There will be age relaxation for SC/ST by 5 years and OBC by 3 years.

Selection Procedure :

Written Examination,

Aptitude Test, and

Document Verification.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for Assistant Loco Pilot examination is mentioned below:-

--> You should have passed 10th standard and ITI or Diploma in Engineering course from a recognised Institute.

--> You should be in between 18-30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per Government rules.

Those candidates who have completed diploma and ITI course from a recognized University are eligible for Assistant Loco Pilot exam.

Your age should be in between 18 to 33 years.

If you have completed 12th standard from a recognized board then you are eligible for ticket collector post.

Your age should be in between 18 to 30 years.

Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable to OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates as per Government rules.
