You have completed B.Com degree and your age is 31 years so you can apply for Assist Teacher in government college through TET exam.

Eligibility criteria for TET exam:-

1)Those candidates who have completed graduation degree are eligible for TET exam.

2)Your age should be below 40 years.

There are many job opportunities for a b.com graduate. You can apply for bank po's,clerk post,rrb jobs,income tax officer,sales tax officer,drdo,cid,indian army,jco(junior commissional officer),ias,ips.
The eligibility criteria for bank po's :
graduation from recognized university.
Age limit:20 to 30 years.
Clerk post:
diploma full time,graduation,10+2.
Age limit:20-28 years.

No, you are now above 30 years old. So even after the graduation education qualification you are not eligible to appear for the government jobs.

The maximum age limit for the general category candidates to get the government jobs is 30 years and there are some reservation for the OBC and the SC/ST candidates.

But you can apply for the state government Public Service Commission as there are different age limit in the different states to appear in the examination.

B.Com is a Top course in all graduation streams except Professional courses like B.Tech. And to know the more details about the government jobs you need to look on all the list of jobs.

So you can apply for all these jobs with your graduation course. Or else you can also do " Higher courses " like M.Com and all.

• Age of candidate must be from 21 to 30 years.

As, your age is above 30, then you can't apply for any type of government jobs.

Those candidates who are interested to get a Government should not above 30 years. Since, you already reached the age of 31 years. You are not eligible for Government job. However, if you belong from reserved category then you may have the chance to appear in Government exams like UPSC, SSC etc. Being a B.Com student, you can apply for Assist Teacher job in Government college by qualifying in the TET exam.
