Job opportunities for electronics and communication engineer in Railways:-

Section Engineer,

Project Engineer,

Junior Technician,

One can get recruited for these posts after clearing the written examination conducted by Railway Recruitment Board followed by GD and personal interview.

Being an electronics and communication engineering degree holder the best option for you in the Indian Railways is the option of Senior engineer.

Also for becoming Senior engineer in the Indian Railways you will need to qualify RRB ( Railway Recruitment Board ) examination which is held once every year by different RRBs following a particular rotation policy.

Also for appearing in the same examination for the post of Senior engineer, apart from your educational qualification you need to be an Indian resident with your age lying within 20 years to 34 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the norms.

With the same qualifications, you can also appear for the post of Junior engineer but for this post your age must be under 18 years to 32 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category in this also.
