Why are girls not allowed for NDA?
Why is it that girls are not allowed in NDA. Even after so many years of independence. When we all talk about equal rights. Why is still a barrier in between us. It seems like as if the country herself is dividing India!

Re: Why are girls not allowed for NDA?
Its all rules of NDA and in future they might have opening for girls surely. At present only boys can apply for NDA exam. Those who pass NDA exam get studies at NDA and after that only they get training.
Hence, there is not much difference. You can too join defense after graduation through CDS and other special entry scheme. You can join NCC also at degree level. |

Re: Why are girls not allowed for NDA?
As per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the NDA examination notification released by UPSC, only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA examination. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a Government recognised board are eligible to apply for NDA examination. Since, the UPSC has clearly mentioned that only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA examination in the notification, so you are not eligible to apply for NDA.
