Whether girls are eligible to apply for National Defense Academy (NDA) exam or not?
I'm a female candidate and heard that girls are not allowed to apply for National Defense Academy (NDA) exam. Is it true? Can I apply for it or not after passing 10th board exam?

No. Girls are not at all eligible to apply for this National Defence Academy Examination. Basically there is a certain educational qualification required to appear in NDA/ NA Examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
<> The minimum educational qualification required is "12th Class" in 10+2 pattern from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. <> Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to attend NDA/ NA Examination. Female candidates are not eligible to appear in NDA Examination conducted by UPSC. <> The minimum age required is 16.5 years and maximum age should not exceed 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation applicable. |
