I have secured a rank of of 10226 in VITEEE.
Can I get admission in Mechanical Engineering of B.Tech?

Yes, you can definitely get a seat with a rank of 10226 in VIT University in order to pursue Mechanical Engineering. However, owing to the excellent reputation and exposure facilities of VIT, the competition level and student's inclination towards it for admission is very high. Hence, it cannot be said with a guaranty that you will be getting seat in Vellore branch. However, you will definitely be able to get a seat in Chennai Campus of VIT university to pursue B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

In 2014, candidates who have secured below 10,000 rank have secured admission in B.Tech(Mechanical Engineering) in VIT university. So, you have a some chances to get admission in VIT university. If you cannot get admission in Mechanical engineering, you can also try for admission in Electrical and EEE branches, because you do have chances to get admission in these courses.
