I am a student of B.Tech 2nd year(ECE). I want to do Summer training program in any core company. Is it beneficial to do Training in 2nd year or should I wait for entering in 3rd year?

You should wait for the 3rd year as 2nd year is too early for doing industrial training.Till that you can do the extra courses which will help you in placement process such as-

1-C language.
