Indian Administrative Service (IAS) which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). One has to appear in IAS entrance exam in order to become a IAS officer. Normally, there are three stages Preliminary, Mains and Interview. The eligibility to appear for UPSC Civil Service Examination is Bachelor Degree. The minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum 30 years. The number of attempts for the general category is 5. There is no need to do any rural service for appearing IAS examinations.
