GATE/GPAT qualified candidates are only eligible for GATE/GPAT Scholarships. Regarding other scholarships there are lots of private scholarships. You can avail those scholarships. Forbes Marshall, Dr. Gargi Vishnoi Memorial Scholarships, GE Fund Scholarships, British Gas Fellowship, TCS Fellowship etc are the few scholarships available. You can check the concerned websites for the details and avail the scholarships.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

If you have completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then are eligible for GATE exam. There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam. You can apply any number of time. There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.

GATE stipend during the M.Tech degree is 8,000/- per month.

Non GATE candidates are not eligible for stipend.
