Hi, I am Shahima. I have completed 11th in science field this year. I want to become an Air Hostess after 12th. My English is not that much poor because I have completed in English medium. Can I become an Air Hostess after 12th? What are the qualifications after 12th? I don’t want to do diploma or anything after 12th because I want to become, as soon as possible.

In order to become an air hostess you should have completed your 12th standard with specialization in hospitality degree or should have completed bachelor's degree from a recognized college. Your age should be in between 18 to 26 years and you must be an Indian citizen. You should have good eyesight and you height should be minimum 157.5 cms with weight in proportion to height.

English in mandatory to become an air hostess, as you are poor in English, hence you pursue English speaking course. After completing the course if you see that you can speak fluent English, then you can get admission in any air hostess training institute.

You can get admission in aviation institutes such as Frankfinn, Indigo, etc. These institutions prepare you well for the job post of air Hostess and later on you can get placed in any good airlines if you have successfully passed the course.

You can also walk in interviews for the post of air hostess in various aviation industry asking for a minimum educational qualification of 12th standard. Your communication should however be quite good in order to avail the job post.
