Can I study PhD in History having completed Master's Degree through Distance Learning?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a Master's Degree in History with 59% marks, however through distance learning. So, I did like to know, if I can PhD in History or not after pursuing Master's through distance learning? |

Yes, any distance learning degree from a recognized university is valid for Ph.D admission in India. Just make sure that you have scored at least 55% marks in the post graduation degree.
Admission will be based on the performance in written exam and interview conducted by the concerned university or institution. If possible try to qualify NET/SET which will help you get exemption from any entrance exam. |
