Is it difficult to get stipend to study PhD if completed M.Tech at the age of 29 years old?

Hello Sir,
I have completed my M.Tech at the age of 29 years old.
If I want to pursue PhD right now then will
my age be barrier for getting stipend up to completion of my PhD?
Please advice me regarding this.
Thank you.

Normally, if you have NET/SLET/JRF/GATE qualification then you will definitely get stipend if you take Ph.D admission in a top Institute. Hence, try to qualify any one of these exams and apply for admission in top colleges.

Age is a concern when you are applying for JRF but if you get admission in Ph.D then you can get stipend if you have good qualification. Institutes like IITs, BITS Pilani offer stipend to Ph.D scholars according to government rules. Therefore, don't worry about age if you have good qualification.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
