You must have 55% marks in your Master Degree to be eligible to appear for the NET/SET Examination.
Once you have 55% marks there is no other rigid criteria that is set to appear for the NET/SET Examination. So if you are having the requisite marks then you will be able to appear for the Examination. |

Re: Eligibility conditions for NET/SET exams? How much percentage is required in Post Graduation?
You must have a post graduation degree in relevant discipline with at least 55% marks to become eligible for NET/SET. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category.
Also, make sure you have studied the subject in your master's degree for which you are applying. Those in final year of post graduation are also eligible for the exam provided they clear the final exams on time. |
