PhD Students receive a monthly fellowship of Rs 25,000 enhanced to Rs 28,000 after registration at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR). Those candidates who have completed M.Sc/BE/B.Tech/M.Pharm are eligible to apply for PhD Chemistry at TIFR. The admission to the PhD in Chemistry is done on the basis of a written test, followed by an interview conducted by TIFR.
