Is PhD holder eligible for the past of lecture. Can PhD is exempt from set or net exam? I am looking for a quick response from your side.

No, it is necessary to qualify in NET or SET examination to become lecturer in colleges.

So, even after Ph.d degree you have to qualify in NET examination conducted by UGC twice every year to become lecturer.

The examination is conducted in month of June and December every year. To have other information about NET examination visit at www.ugc.ac.in.

Most of the government colleges will ask for NET/SET qualification from PH.D holders also. Therefore, you must try to qualify it if you want government lecturer job in India.

For private colleges lecturer job the selection will depend on the performance in the interview and your academic credentials.

Yes, Ph.D holder candidates are eligible for lecturer post in Arts.

Those candidates who have UGC NET score card or Ph.D degree are eligible for government college as an Assistant Professor.

There is no age criteria.
