Procedure to get admission for PhD after completion of M.Sc in Microbiology? What is the eligibility criteria followed to apply? Can you please help me with the information on this? I want to do PhD but am not sure about the next steps. Will be helpful if you can provide me the details. Thanks!

Those candidates who have successfully completed his master's degree with a minimum of 55% are eligible to take and pursue the PhD course in their relevant subjects after passing the national level exam like CSIR/UGC-NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE and the candidate who appear and cleared the national level exams like CSIR/UGC-NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE or equivalent valid fellowship may appear for interview without appearing in the departmental entrance test.
