Scope of Ph.D in Geography after working as a professor?
I am thinking to make career with phd (Geography) as professor. I'm not a PhD student at this time, means I have time for thinking about my career. Is this good decision for me or there is any other way or another subjects who is best for PhD.

Re: Scope of Ph.D in Geography after working as a professor?
If you can pursue along with your Professor job then surely it will be a good thing for your career progress in academics. Most of the great scholars go for research work in their respective field. This gives you name and increase your reputation.
For head of the institution or college Ph.D is very much required. Hence, if you have in your mind to head an institution or college then Ph.D along with experience will only help. |
