It's for sure that MBA is more in demand in current market.
But in my opinion, one can opt for M.Tech or MBA... M.Tech - If you want to go in research fields, have interest in teaching job or want to sharpen your technical skills further, after completing your engg degree. MBA - Want to manage the people, earn a lot of money in quick time. ![]() ![]()

Hi Dear,
MBA and M Tech. both is equivalent, as seen as MBA has more demand according to the choise of candidate and M Tech. has less but M Tech. is far better than MBA and has greater value according to me. |

It depends on you ,if u want to remain in the technical field in which u have spent ur precious 4 years and want to return a tribute to the society because of your technical intelligence u can remain in the field.
Otherwise MBA can be a option but it will not give you internal satisfaction of which u have achieved and spent in 4 years. |

I think Mtech is more in demand.
There is a general misconception that doing MBA itself is an end in all in order to get good jobs. Well there is a serious dearth of the M techdegree holders in every big MNC. It is much easier to find a guy with MBA, but the reality is that if he/she is simply interested in money making then he is surely not going to use his potential to the fullest. In that sense the organisation wont gain much from that emplyee. But in case of an MTech the level of knowledge is quite good as well as only a person really interested in field of technology would go for Masters degree. So there is a higher chance of getting a really capable Mtech for a particular type of technical work. |

Mtech is specially meant for bachelors in Engineering..
MBA can be done by any other bachelors of other field.... once after studying engg for 4 years..its better to choose the same field Mtech & do more reasearch in it rather choosing what everyone else can do |

M.tech is only for enginering students but MBA is for all and now a days it has become a trend and most companies and jobs are asking for graduates with MBA because management ability is such a thing one must have in order to handle a mass and to give better output and to achieve the given goals in limited time and in correct manner by following the right method where as M.tech is just a engineering degree which can specialize you in your respective field. so i think in my openion MBA has an upper edge over M.tech.

as for as my concern ...i will say neither is worst...because its not the degree thats in demand...its only people that are enough skilled and able to think innovative and being productive is what the industry requires....not merely the degree a person holds.....

MBA is in more demand as by doing it we have various options ,as compared to mtech in which we are glued to a particular group of industries, whereas by doing mba we have lot many industries(ie finance, marketing, logistics, foreign trade).hence go for mba.
