Those candidates who have completed their Bachelor's Degree or a higher degree in the relevant specialization (Archaeology) from a recognized university are eligible.

Normally, the admission process for M.A Archaeology through IGNOU university is based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the respective university. So, you are required to appear in the entrance exam and get qualified in order to get admission for MA Archaeology through IGNOU university. The course offered in both January and July cycle of admissions every year. Please, refer to the official website of IGNOU university to get more details about the admission process.
