Am I eligible to pursue MA course after completing BA scoring 44.62% marks?


Respected Sir, I have completed my Graduation with BA course scoring 44.62% marks now I want to pursue Post Graduation with MA so I want to know am I eligible to pursue MA course after completing BA scoring 44.62% marks? Please answer as soon as possible.

Yes, you are eligible to pursue MA course after completion of BA degree with 44.62% marks. The course can be studied in regular and distance mode in various colleges in India. The course duration will be two years. You can study the MA in the same discipline after BA. The admission to the course will be done through the marks scored in the graduation and entrance test in some colleges. The course is useful for you to pursue your career in the teaching line or you can pursue higher studies after post graduation.

Yes, you can apply for admission in MA course, but chances of admission will be less at reputed universities because of the marks you have got. 44.62% is not enough for top universities.

You will end up getting admission at any low ranked college with these marks. Hence, admission is possible but at not so good colleges.

Yes, you are eligible for M.A course because you have completed B.A course.

Those candidates who have completed B.A course from a recognized University with above 45% marks are eligible for M.A course.

Your Age should be above 18 years.
