For teaching jobs in government schools, you need to crack TET/CTET. There is no direct recruitment in government schools for teaching jobs.
In private schools, you can apply for such jobs without TET/CTET, but salary will be according to your experience. |

Candidates who have completed their graduation with B.Ed degree are eligible to teach in schools. As you have completed your graduation in economics and also B.Ed, so you are eligible to become a teacher. In order to teach in government schools in Maharashtra, you have to appear for TET (Teacher's Eligibility Test). After qualifying the examination you can start teaching in government schools.a

Yes, you can definitely teach in government schools but first you have to appear for TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) and qualify in it, then only you can teach in state level government schools.
In order to teach in central government schools, you have to appear and qualify in CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) examination. TET and CTET are entrance examinations for teachers and these tests are mandatory for getting teacher job in State government schools and Central government schools respectively. |
