Can I get into IIT Guwahati having AIR of 2481 in GATE?
I got AIR rank 2481 in gate 2014 in me...my score is 671...mark is 58...can i get IIT Guwahati or new iits like IIT madras, iit Hyderabad ,iit bhubaneswar , iit bhu etc??????

GATE score of 671 is a very good score if you are looking to get admission in a IIT. Admission will also be affected by the category of the candidate and also in which stream you want admission. You might face some competition if you are looking for admission in a popular stream. Candidates who belong to reserved category will require a lesser score compared to general category.

But. do keep in mind one thing, you will be getting the Iit's as well as NIT's but if you want the most superficial branch such as Computer Science or Mechanical then it will be little more difficult to get those because for Such branch you need minimum of 60 marks. |
