i passed bsc computers.I am pursuing MSC IT from anu cde.If i passe UGCNET exam shall i eligible for comp science degree or junior govt lecturer in ap.bcz here MSC comp course not here.MSC IT course eligible for comp degree or polytechnic lecturers?plz clarify my doubts.

The eligibility to become a Lecturer in any government college is that the candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC. The aspirant should have completed Graduation and Post Graduation in Computer Science with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. After completing the NET you can apply for Lecturer post in various colleges.

After completion of M.Sc in IT, you can apply for UGC NET exam. Then you can do Ph.D course.

Because Ph.D degree holder candidates are eligible for lecturer post in government college.

There are no age criteria.

You have to qualify NET/SET in computer science subject to become eligible for lecturer job in government colleges. M.Sc IT is enough to make you eligible for NET/SET.

For private colleges you can still apply for lecturer job but salary will be according to experience and selection is very difficult.
