Can I apply for deck cadet in merchant navy after 12th standard?
I am a 12th passed student with all subjects. I would like to join merchant navy as deck cadet. My height is 173 cm. Can I get admission?

In order to join merchant navy for the post of deck cadet you must have completed your 10+2 in stream with PCM subjects. So, if you have passed in all these subjects in 12th standard then you are eligible to join merchant navy. You should have scored minimum 60% and above in 12th examination from a recognized board.
After completing your 12th examination you have to get a bachelor's degree in Nautical Science. It is a three years graduation course after completing which you can apply for deck cadet jobs in merchant navy. |
