Job description of System Engineer in Deloitte? Is it equivalent to Software Engineer post?

Sir,
I have to attend Deloitte Off-Campus for System Engineer post but I wanted to become a Software Engineer. As my chances of selection is more, so I think I will secure this job. But I want to know the job description of System Engineer their. Is it equivalent to Software Engineer?

There is something you are lost withing these information or you don't have exact updated knowledge for these field.
You can be a software engineer after being a system engineer. And if you think that you are good enough in System as compared to software then i suggest that you must go into system engineer post. Because for System engineer Operating system knowledge is mandatory and for Operating system knowledge you must know programming.

So, being a system engineer you can have approach of software also.
So, no need to worry all about. Both the profile are good in their respective manner.
