I have an opportunity working for hdfc life ...as a marketing guy.. am confused what will be the work and what is the work function? where in they are paying a good salary.

Congratulations,as you have got opportunity to work HDFC Life.As you are going to perform Marketing executive role you must first know the roles and responsibilities for your work.So do not get worried,even do not go with the confusion.Because I am one by one giving you the tasks that are to be performed by you.As a marketing guy you are responsible to develop the marketing campaigns,which basically promotes the product or services.

You must be in a position to organize the various events,and product development and more.You are also required to manage the advertising,public relations,sponsorship and research and distribution various activities.Also the responsibilities vary and it mainly depends on the size of the organisation(HDFC).Marketing executives are also referred as coordinators.

You need to do the following particular activities.So you must be a in a position to communicate with the target the customers and manage the various customer relationships.You need to also place the various advertisements in the regional,local or specialist publications.You may some times need to write and proofread the copy.And maintain the databases and must update in regular intervals.You will need to manage the budgets,and evaluate various marketing campaigns.You must support the marketing manager and your coordinators.You need to do marketing plans and various strategies.So do not get worried,any ways in your probation period you will be dealt with all the tasks to be performed.
