I would like to suggests you Choose CBSE board (Central Board of Secondary Education) because CBSE board is central board and conducts the AIPMT (All india Pre Medical test) means for getting admission in any good medical college you needs to appear in AIPMT test. and AIPMT test follow CBSe syllabus so , its a plus point for CBSE students.
AIPMT conducts by CBSE board once in a year. |

Re: Which board is apt to choose for becoming a Doctor?
There is no specific board which is best for becoming a Doctor, it is only the stream which you take should be best to become a doctor. For becoming a doctor you should choose pure science stream which is Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as subjects or Physics, Chemistry, Computer science and Biology as subjects.
If you clear you respected +2 with these subjects then you can join in better institutes to join in as a Doctor. You need to study MBBS course in order to become a doctor. |

Re: Which board is apt to choose for becoming a Doctor?
I think you can choose any board for becoming a doctor because admission will be based on the rank in the PMT. If you study well then any board is good for you. Also, you have to prepare according to entrance exam which is conducted for admission. You will face objective type questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Biology, therefore, be prepared for it.
The best board will be CBSE if you want wide recognition. CBSE also conducts the NEET. There are good number of good schools affiliated to CBSE board and if you want qualify education then this board is good for you. |

Re: Which board is apt to choose for becoming a Doctor?
To be a doctor you do not have to be worried about your board of education as the syllabus for each board of education are same for the main subjects.
For becoming a doctor you need to complete your higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your main subjects with at least 50% aggregate in each from a recognized university. Then you need to pursue MBBS course for which you need to clear entrance examinations like AIPMT, AIIMS entrance examination, State PMT, BHU-PMT, etc. so that you can get admission in good college for getting quality education. Then you will have to go for the specialization course after completing which you will be considered as a doctor. |

Re: Which board is apt to choose for becoming a Doctor?
Doctors are considered to be the second form of God. It is really good decision of yours to become doctor. You can do your 10+2 from any recognized board to be eligible for the various entrance test conducted for the MBBS, BDS courses.
There are many boards like CBSE, ICSE, NIOS or state education board. From my point of view the most suitable board is Central board of Secondary Education. A candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board to be eligible for the MBBS entrance exams with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Various entrance exams are: >>All India Pre Medical test conducted by CBSE. >>AIIMS entrance exam. >>State government conducts its own entrance test for courses like MBBS, BDS etc. The minimum age to appear for these exam is 17 years on the 31st December of the years of admission. |

Re: Which board is apt to choose for becoming a Doctor?
There is no discrimination between boards if you want to become a Doctor. Anyone who has passed class 12 with PCB stream can apply for MBBS admission through medical entrance exam.
You need to score excellent marks in the board exam as well as NEET to get admission at any medical college. So, you can opt for admission at any decent school near you. |
